Terrain Avoidance

Terrain Avoidance systems help manage and reduce the risk of "Controlled Flight Into Terrain" (CFIT) accidents. This capability is most often added through the installation of a Multi-Function Display that supports terrain, either directly, or through a supported terrain processor.
