King's KN-63 DME is a remote-mount Receiver / Transmitter version of the popular and powerful KN-62A DME.

We generally only keep the King KN-63 DME Receiver / Transmitter (-01 version) in stock.  This is because most of our KN-63 customers are in Europe, where the "-01" is required.  If you need a KN-63, either version will work equally well for you, even if you are not required to have the harmonic filter.  Unless you specify otherwise, we will use a "-01" to fill your "-00" order, since they are interchangeable.

If you have limited panel space, but need a TSO'd, high-power DME, King's KN-63 is just what you need. The KN-63 is typically paired with the King KDI-572 DME Indicator, but it can also drive a KDI-573 "repeater" DME Indicator on the co-pilot's side of the cockpit. A KN-63 DME System will simultaneously show distance, groundspeed, and time-to-station.
